Welcome to the world little Elisia Jolene! She was born to Andrew and Adelphia this afternoon at 3:48PM. Weighing in at 6lbs 13 oz (no length thanks to a giddy daddy) and a tad early, both mom and new daughter are doing well. We can't wait to get over and visit this new little one and we're very excited that she came before we left!
On another front, while definitely less exciting, I'm officially accepted to the MBA program of the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. While I have to take Calculus, my schedule taking classes part time will earn my degree by summer 2010. I'm pretty excited about this new challenge, but I'm again regretting not taking the AP Calculus exam when I was in high school. Who knew that would continue to bite me in the keister?!?!
Clarice has finished her "first pass" at packing for her flight next Monday. Looking at the towering piles of clothes that she wants to take, I think a second pass is in order. We'll see. I don't think my problem is going to be the clothes so much as the 2 laptops, Wii, camera w/ lens, and Ipod. Oh and my CPAP machine! Can't sleep well without it now. At first, as my body re-learned how to truly sleep, I didn't know if it was going to work. Now, if I don't have it I feel it in the morning.
One final note. Last weekend we postponed our own packing to help Jay and Karen to move out of their house in Lafayette. They have owned that house for something like 35 years and with Jay working for Purdue it has seen its fair share of college students and kids as well. That's a lot of years of junk to wade through and dispose of at one time. Still, their biggest prayer request was to get the place sold in a timely manner. After sharing that particular request with Karen's BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) leader, they arrived in Lafayette to no less than 4 seriouly interested parties! Is that amazing or what?!?! Pray that one of these offers will go through.
That's about it. Until next time...

So how much did Clarice finally end up with? I'm praying for her as she is flying so far away. Will pray for you when you make the trip. Will miss you two but I think I have already said that.
